Additional Programming for kids

MHA offers additional programming for kids wanting to learn the game of hockey including its Learn to Play program, "Try Hockey for Free" events, and goalie training practices. MHA is also proud to partner with the Little Penguins Learn to Play program at the Morgantown Ice Arena. Learn the basic of hockey in this fun program taught by USA Hockey certified coaches. Perfect for children ages 3-12, registration costs include rental of head to toe equipment!

MHA partners with Pittsburgh Penguins Learn to Play Program. Created jointly by the National Hockey League Players’ Association (NHLPA) and the National Hockey League (NHL). Learn to Play’s goal is to inspire youth and welcome more families into the hockey community. Please note that our winter session for Little Penguins will be announced soon.
